The anchorage in Xcalec. One of the most frightening experiences we had was leaving Xcalec. The winds were up and trying to get thru the reef with the waves & wind washing over them was terrifying. Thane was at the bow of the boat and I was driving. He was dunked chest deep in water about 10 times. Lesson learned...you can always wait for a better weather window to leave.
