From the Rio to Guatemala City we took the 2nd class bus. They are old, beat up Greyhound like buses. The cost was $5.00 per person for the 5 hour bus trip. Once in Guatemala City, we took chicken buses to the different cities. They are old school buses that have been restored. They are very elaborate. It costs .30 to go from Guatemala City to Antigua.
