SaltySailors.com the "child" of Thane and Tami from sailing vessel Heart of Gold.  We began living aboard our 31' Island Packet in 2001.  We untied the dock lines and began our cruising adventure in April 2004.  We have cruised in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Mexico, Belize, & Guatemala.  We recently sold Heart of Gold to the first people that looked at her.  We are currently in Key West, Florida working on the cruising kitty and looking for our next boat.

We started this journey with a personal website we could update occasionally to share our adventures and photos with friends and family.  SaltySailors.com was born by people's interest in living aboard and what we have learned along the way.
