Baked Cheese Grits (yep I'm from Texas)

Heart of Gold
| 3 cups |
Cooked grits |
| 6 oz. - 1 1/2 cups |
Cheddar cheese, shredded |
| 2 large |
Eggs, beaten |
| 1 1/2 cups |
Evaporated milk |
| 2 tbls |
Butter, melted |
| 1/2 tsp |
Salt |
| 1/4 tsp |
Paprika |
| 1/8 tsp |
Red pepper, ground |
Heat oven to 375. Grease twelve 3-inch muffin-pan cups.
In large bowl, stir together all ingredients until mixed. Divide
mixture evenly in tin. Bake 25-30 minutes or just until firm.
Cool grits 10 minutes. To serve, invert pan and transfer to
plates.
Great item for a brunch. |
